Substack to creators: you’re on your own

While we were all complaining about “AI” and cover art, Substack seems to have farmed out much of its customer support infrastructure to various AI-based processes.

Substack doesn’t support its creators. At least not creators like us.

If you’re a name brand journalist then you’re good to go.

If you’re anyone else (including, importantly, lesser-known journalists, then you’re SOL if you need support)
